Twitch superstars Amouranth and Indiefoxx are now back streaming after a mysterious ban over the weekend.
The pair did not disclose any details on social media except to say that they were “too sexy” and would be back after a couple of days.
Many suspect the ban was related to the new “ASMR meta” where streamers are literally testing the limits of Twitch TOS with regards to content related to sex. In this case, Amouranth and Indiefoxx moved their “Hot Tub” content to the ASMR category — dressing provocatively and making sexual “ASMR” which included some kink… like farting.

I was initially taken aback by how “sexual” content has emerged on the Twitch platform, but I’ve grown fond of these two. I think the streaming community is in the middle of exploring where the gray areas are between actual porn and non-porn but sexual content.
Amouranth and Indiefoxx unbanned
What Amouranth and Indiefoxx are doing can be seen as self-expression and they are just interacting with their viewers live. Viewers claiming “perks” with money like “change bikini” is really no different from other streamers adding game challenges on their streams for a fee.
I think the Twitch sex situation will ultimately get “fixed” but we may see more bans on Amouranth and Indiefoxx in the future as they look for cracks in the TOS.
