Donald Trump said that “it’s time” for China to attack Taiwan.
WTF.
During an interview with FOX News personality Mario Bartiromo, Trump was asked if he expects China to attack sooner than later, in the light of Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.
Trump’s answer is stunning:
I do because they’re seeing how stupid the United States is run. They’re seeing that our leaders are incompetent.
Of course they’re going to do it. This is their time.

“Their time?” Like it’s their turn???
I think Trump thought that scoring some brownie points calling American leaders incompetent was worth the idea that China now has the go signal to invade Taiwan.
In fact, the way things are going, it’s exactly the opposite. The way the entire world has united against Russia should give China second thoughts about invading Taiwan. Even China has avoided supporting Russia publicly, unlike countries like Belarus and Syria.
It bears repeating: Donald Trump is a traitor to democracy.
When someone shows you who they are the first time, believe them.
