Donald Trump released a press statement today with one question and one question only: Where’s Durham?

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America
Where’s Durham? Is he a living, breathing human being? Will there ever be a Durham report?
That’s it. That’s the tweet.
Donald Trump has been banned from social media website Twitter but he sends out press statements as if they were tweets. So inane.
“Durham” is John Durham, the U.S. attorney of the District of Connecticut, who was assigned by then U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr in April 2019 to investigate the origins of the FBI probe into Russian interference in the elections of 2016. In December 2020, he was appointed as a Special Counsel.
Durham is a Republican.
Special Counsel investigations like this can take some time, so it’s not surprising that there has not been a report for almost two years. Also not surprising: Donald Trump wondering out loud if someone is still alive.
