Ellen DeGeneres has tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus. The daytime TV host made the announcement on social media on Wednesday.
She wrote:
Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines. I’ll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe.
Love, Ellen
It’s good to know that she’s feeling fine! Stay safe everyone. Not all of us have access to excellent healthcare like Ellen and the COVID-19 vaccine won’t be available to everyone in the U.S. until probably late next year.
Get well soon Ellen!
Update: A couple of days later, Ellen informed everyone that she was feeling better but she was experiencing excruciating back pain. She said that apparently back pain is a possible symptom of the COVID-19 coronavirus as others have had it too. Her symptoms could have been worse for sure, so this is still good news all around.
