Florida just set a new hospitalization record for COVID-19 with 12,408 patients this week, 135 of them children (also a record).
It’s no surprise then that Republican Governor Ron DeSantis was rattled and defensive yesterday when President Biden said that “some governors aren’t willing to do the right thing to beat this pandemic.”
DeSantis tried to put attention away from his state’s COVID crisis by telling Biden to do his job… on the border.
Whataboutism when his fellow Floridians are sick and dying. So awful.
DeSantis said the reason for the COVID-19 surge in his state was seasonal. Um, I though the virus favored colder weather?
