Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, was caught on social media sneaking out of the country last night in the middle of a state of emergency in Texas. He’s now trying to rush back to Houston after spending the night in Cancun, Mexico.
Cruz is scheduled to be on a United Airlines flight from Cancun that arrives in Houston at 4:05 PM. He’s currently on the standby list for Business Class.

Looks like @tedcruz is on his way back, @danpfeiffer. He’s just narrowly missing the upgrade list
That’s assuming that “cru, r” is him. And I do. pic.twitter.com/CqfKa5rJfG
Cruz has been unusually silent during this controversy but obviously he’ll “start talking” when he arrives in the United States later today.
FOX News confirmed that Cruz is indeed in Cancun, Mexico right now on vacation.

"Cruz’s staff contacted HPD personnel at IAH on Wednesday ... and requested assistance upon the Senator’s arrival at the airport."
"HPD officers monitored his movements through the terminal."

Ted Cruz is the worst of the worst. While Texans are going through one of the worst state disasters in recent memory, he sneaks out to the country to go on vacation. What a POS.
