Marvel Entertainment has released the first teaser trailer for “The Marvels” featuring Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau and Ms. Marvel.
My initial reaction after watching this is: YES! YES! YES!
The movie opens on November 10, 2023.

In the comic books, Monica Rambeau took the name of Captain Marvel when Carol Danvers was called Binary. She then became Photon. In the TV and movies she doesn’t have a code name (yet).
Carol Danvers was Ms. Marvel for a while before she took on the name Captain Marvel again.
Kamala Khan is the current Ms. Marvel but for the TV series, they modified her powers.
So literally… “The Marvels” is a perfect title for these three superheroes.
I think Brie Larsen carried the first Captain Marvel movie well, but if she is sharing the billing with two other heroes plus Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, it seems that Disney doesn’t really trust her anymore to solo carry.
Thanfully no egos? The show must go on? Or maybe (most likely) she’s under contract, solo-billing or not.
