Tina Turner has died. She was 83.
Her representative said she died peacefully at her home in Switzerland:
Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll’ has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland. With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model.
83 is still so young though! However, Tina Turner has had so many medical issues over the years.
She was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 2016 and had a kidney transplant in 2017.
Tina Turner is a legend. I am so grateful that I witnessed some of it growing up.
