The instrumental piece “Chariots of Fire - Titles” is literally a classic, something everyone has heard at one point in their lives, and is embedded in Hollywood cinema forever.
It was released as a single and reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1982. Many should remember it from the Olympic Games instead of the movie from where it first was heard.
Sad day today. RIP Vangelis!
